She

Sometimes God gives us inspiration, other times He fills your head with dull nothingness, so when you decide, for example, to sit down to write about something on your blog post, you find yourself staring off into the ethereal and wondering what to cook for dinner.

That would be the case and the explanation for my 3 month hiatus from blogging. Not because I was shoulder- deep in magical work; not because I was off on mysterious journeys to exotic lands to meet with other sorcerers; no the more boring mundane explanation is that I've simply not been inspired.

Until today :)

So, first off I should probably wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! Does anyone actually believe it? 2012. I feel slightly disorientated, even though I've had eleven whole days to get used to the new figures. Magically at least, I think it shall be a good year for me. Financially, well, this year's theme(as should every year to come!)is about constant, vigilant, ever-working money magic. Do I hear a HELL YEAH from the back of the theatre?

So, what is the inspiration for today's blog post? The answer is a spirit who I have become very close to in the past few months since returning to the Middle East. Her name is Santa Muerte, or La Santa Muerte, the Mexican Euro-Indigenous Aztec spirit of Death. In fact She is not death or a personification of death, but Death(with capitals) Herself. Now, boohoo to those who are not particularly familiar with Her, but I will not go into Her history as you can easily google Her and get a whole load of info. Ahhh the miracle of the internet! Suffice to say, she is an extremely powerful Lady, and one, as you could imagine being who She is, not to be played around with.
Now, perhaps you might be thinking 'what the HECK does a love conjurer have to do with a death saint', and I guess it would be a fair question to ask.

Perhaps going back to the beginning would help to set the record, at least MY own personal record, straight  with Her. I cannot speak for anyone else's experiences, so don't take this as law peeps.

I started getting signs from Santa Muerte at the beginning of last year. Now as a spiritual woman I work with God, my ancestors, my guardian spirit Saint Expedite, and sometimes others. But they are my main bosses :) Well, She started appearing to me in the most random places. On signs, flyers, leaflets, tee shirts, clay models. It got to become quite incessant. A bit like someone tapping on your door and continuing to tap until it becomes a frap and a sharp knock until they're banging the door down. That was the feeling. At this point folks, those of you who are not familiar with Her imagery should know that She appears as a bony skeleton, usually swathed in robes, carrying a scythe, sometimes a lamp, and always with Her favourite animal, the owl. She looks in fact like the female version of the European image of the Grim Reaper. This is how she was appearing to me, wherever I went.
I had known about Her for some time before She started making Herself known to me, about Her fierce reputation as a protector, a spirit who truly doesn't discriminate against anyone because we all effectively belong to Her. She is believed to yield power even over the saints, who were after all just as human as any of us at one point, and so Hers.

As a spirit She has a reputation for being a very powerful Lady, with the power and speed to grant almost every wish, for a price. She covers pretty much everything from Love to Prosperity to Justice work. It is ALL withine Her power. She is the ultimate unbiased nonjudgmental spirit. She is most credited for bringing back lovers and reconciling couples.

Now what I have experienced is this; She works EXTREMELY fast, hot fast, like red hot fast! It is scary how she can deliver for you. Let me give you two examples.
A few months back I got into a bit of hot water with a then best friend; the situation got out of hand, and personal information which the ex best friend knew about me, she and her partner were threatening to tell a whole bunch of other people. I need action fast, so I went to Santa Muerte and St. Expedite(by the way, you can't get any better than them together to really kick a work into gear!!)and asked for their help. I did a very impromptu Shut The Fuck Up type spell on both of them. Result? I get a call the next day saying they have decided to hold their tongues. Permanently. They have not uttered a word since. And I learnt that they weren't really the friends I thought they once were. RESULT! One day.
Second example. A couple of days ago, I set about working a Job Getting Money lamp, to find myself a new job in my new profession which I'd spent a good 4 months training in. Again I went to Santa Muerte and Saint Expedite. Result? I got a call today from my tutor offering me work at his college. RESULT! 1 week.

And She's being doing a lot of smaller things for me as well, like getting me back in touch with an ex partner, who I had felt for a long time that I needed some sort of official apology from. I asked for Her advice, the same night I dreamt that he came to me and apologized, and in the morning there was an email waiting for me from said ex, explaining his reasons for the way he had left things and apologizing, thus giving me closure.

Needless to say I love Her, and I ask for Her guidance in all matters now, along with my regular prayers to St Expedite. What a dynamite pair they are! Absolute firecrackers!

Now, obviously this blog needs to come with a caution; anyone who knows their spirit 101 will tell you that you don't bargain or promise something to a spirit without the full intention of following through. Well folks this is especially true for La Santissia Muerte, for She is Death Herself, so can only imagine how She might react if you piss Her off. No I am not saying She takes your life, or the life of another because you don't pay up in time, but you simply DO NOT want to mess with Her. I am speaking here now to those of you who will suddenly have the bright idea to go start asking Her for favours. I must mention that even after having accepted Her into my life, I was and still am very cautious and careful when speaking with Her. She is after all Death, not to be afraid of, but definitely not to be messed with. It took me a while of sitting with Her, just sitting and introducing myself, and telling Her about small trivial things to establish some sort of contact. She generates a very motherly type of feeling, but a very very heavy one. This is more of a warning to novices to spirit work in general, do NOT entire into Her domain lightly, wait for Her to call to you.

As ever folks, please feel free to comment and rate

God Bless folks! and a very happy 2012!

Guzzling the candles....

Saint Expedite has been absolutely demolishing the candle offerings these past few weeks, probably because I haven't been paynig him enough attention!

He usually likes to take his time with them, allowing them to burn at a speedy but unhasty pace; however recently he's been completely gobbling them down so that a candle that would usually burn for approximately 6-7 hours straight through, is now being consumed in under an hour! phew! He's probably thinking he better get his due in as he doesn't know when the next one is coming.
You see he IS used to a daily offering from me, but due to my schedule becoming alot busier recently, I've been finding less and less time for myself and the spirits, and consequently I've been neglecting him somewhat.

So with that in mind, I decided to go on the hunt for a site dedicated to the miracle worker and place up a daily 'offering' online. A note to those who aren't familiar with this saint, he likes, amongst other things, having his name spread and broadcast, whether that be though a newspaper, word of mouth, email, text, bbm, skype etc etc! As long as his name is out there!

Check out this site I came across!   http://saintexpedite.org/index.html

I encourage everybody who's received results from this glorious spirit to post up a word of thanks!

SPREAD HIS NAME FOLKS!

God bless

You are cordially invited....

Evening folks! I hope everyone is well and dandy.

I would like to make a brief mention about my lecture which will be, Inshallah, taking place sometime around mid July 2012.

I will be presenting a talk about my own personal experiences with Saint Expedite; speaking about my first encounters with this powerful spirit as a child, and his subsequent involvement in my life up till now.
I plan to be making particular mention of my work as a love conjurer, and the way he has aided me in that. But I also hope to point out his many other functions and possibilities which I have discovered over the years, having him as one of my primary guiding spirits.

The lecture is being hosted at The Moot With No Name, an organised weekly gathering of magicians and like-minded folk by the Geraldine Beskin of the Atlantis Bookshop in London.

Please visit her website at http://www.theatlantisbookshopevents.com/page2.htm for any more info regarding the Moot.

As the lecture is not scheduled till next year, the date remains unconfirmed, so please check back regularly for updates.

It seems almost rather amusing to me that this has come about at this point in my life; as some of you might know and be aware of, Saint Expedite is one of those spirits who demands payment for work received. The other night as I sat at my desk pondering over different recipes for Follow Me Boy, I suddnenly got the message from him that he wanted his name to be spread even further than I have ever done before. And then the idea of presenting a lecture about him popped into my mind.

That Eureka moment I spoke of in my first blog? This would be one of them!

Nitey nite folks

UPDATE

Due to unforseen circumstances, I will not be
presenting this talk to Atlantis.
Which is a crying shame, as I was really looking forward
to doing it :(
Circumstances have meant that I will, for the forseeable future,
be staying put where I am.

My Man!

Saint Expedite, glorious miracle-working saint, opener of the roads, patron of people who wish for a speedy solution, financial benefactor etc.... And my very close friend and personal guiding spirit.

It's very hard for me, even now, to explain just how tight I am with this amazing spirit. I think back to the countless times he has lent me his helping hand, given me sage advice, opened up my roads, guided me on my path, shown me hidden messages, double meanings, bombarded me with signs, traversed with me across the Veil, and I get emotional and feel nothing but gratitude for the amount of favour I enjoy with him.

Sometimes he is Saint Expedite, a powerful granter of  wishes; other times he can become something altogether much more primal and dark. He can be the Holy Infant Child in his benign form, or the keeper of the crossroads, the opener and closer of the ways. He becomes Papa Legba for me.

He is one of my greatest sources of comfort, strength, guidance, and inspiration.

Over the fourteen or so years that I have been working with him, he has aided me in matters of money, financial gain, good luck, all my love cases, as well as my hot footing and curse work. And he has never let me down. He has ALWAYS pulled through for me.

He is a great protector as well, and I pray to him constantly to keep me and my own safe from all harm, spiritual and physical.

He is a grand spirit who demands grand payment, but he can also accept humble donations, when given with a sincere heart. I am reminded of a few years back when I first moved to London and I was broke, living in an apartment I couldn't afford, and jobless. When I asked for help, all I had to offer  him was a candle and some water. Within a week, I got a job.

So if you ever need a helping hand, if you want that job now, if you desperately need that money to cover the mortgage, if that lover has cheated on you and now you want them out of the house PRONTO, then do no hesitate to call upon him with a completely honest and open heart and he'll hear you. He might not manisfest your desire exacty how you imagined it, but this is one spirit who gets the job done!

Eternal thanks to you Glorious Saint Expedite! Spread his name people!

from the Liber Juratus:Sloane 313 :

"Elemental Demons are neither good nor evil, neither benevolent nor malevolent by nature; thus they may be employed for either good or evil purposes. It is not the demons, nor the calling of them, nor magical art that is evil, rather it is the use that evil men may make of magical art that is evil. There is no harm in magical art that is not first in the hearts of evil men; those who are good, and intend good, produce good: those who are evil, and intend evil, produce evil. Men who are good and faithful need fear no harm from magical art, for demons are conquerable and made subservient to the will of a good man by fortitude and courage".

Pot Dreams

Hello folks,

I apologise profusely for not writing very much since starting up this blog; my recent move back to the Middle East has given me no time to get back on the site and do some fiddling with it! Moving, as most of you are probably aware of, can be a very hectic experience. And let's not even talk about the jet lag! My poor body clock is still on another time to the one that it is meant to be in now!

My first night back was an interesting one. After having set up my shrine and workspace and filling it with statues of my guiding spirits along with offerings, I instantly fell into a deep sleep, wherein I dreamt that I was standing before my work table, and upon it was a terracotta bowl. Inside the bowl was an unidentifiable sigil etched onto a piece of parchment, surrounded my herbs and resins. And ontop of the sigil lay my poison ring, which I've been meaning to clean down and charge up. The entire surface was covered in candles, and when I awoke later on that day, the first thing I did was look over at the work space!
Unfortunately the sigil I couldn't really make out, but I have had thoughts of  working with the Goetic spirit Sitri, the twelfth spirit in the Lemegeton or Lesser Key of Solomon.
So a sign perhaps from Him to get a move on and start working! lol! Most likely, as I haven't as yet started any conjure with him, and I feel this was a bit of a gee up.

Examples of spirit pots and spirit containers are seen throughout the magical practices of the Arabian east; we all know of Aladdin's Lamp of course, well this is just one example. Any container could be employed to coax a spirit to reside within it, and work for your cause. Another method which I know of is the use of these terracotta pots, like the one I saw in my dream; usually they come with a lid and after conjuring the spirit into it, the lid is placed firmly on. You probably guessed it by now, but the poison ring could definitely house a spirit.

The magic ring is not something I've come across very much in western occultism. It seems to have fallen out of favour with many practicioners, or perhaps the favour was never there. Which doesn't mean to say that some magicians don't still make good use of its potentials.
Here in the Middle East, poison rings can traditionally be filled with tiny parchments of written out verses from the Koran along with corresponding gums and roots, to keep the wearer protected from the malice of the ayn-al-husud, written in the Arabic script as عين الحسود, and widely known as the Evil, Hot or Fat Eye.

But the Evil Eye is for another post!

Right now it's time to get back to the cats, who are currently trying to claw their way through the sofa and seem set on reducing it to shreds!

Stay safe folks and may we always endevour to please our spirits! and ma'asalaama as we say here in the Middle East.

May God be with you
